Putting Faith Into Action
The members of Our Church believe that all Christians are called, just like the first disciples, to be witnesses to what God, through Jesus Christ has done for them. To this end we offer two spiritual development and witnessing programs.
Discipleship Program: Our Church uses the MasterLife Series to provide a one year commitment in four parts of classroom and personal study. A recent review of this series said, “An excellent resource to help persons move toward maturity in Christ, MasterLife is appropriate for both new Christians and experienced believers. In addition to gaining victory over areas of weakness, participants will be encouraged to master living in the Word, prayer, personal purity, witnessing, and other key disciplines of faith.”
Lay Witnessing Program: This thirteen week commitment uses the Evangelism Explosion Program to equip our laypeople to make witnessing a way of life. The program combines class room instruction with actual on-the-job training where experienced teachers model and train the inexperienced in actual witnessing encounters.

Our Church Spends 33% of its budget supporting the following missions:
Through the Southern Baptist Convention Our Church cooperates and contributes to various programs and offerings which include but are not limited to the Lottie Moon Foreign Mission (Dec); Anne Armstrong Home Mission (April); Kansas/Nebraska State missions (Sept) and the Kansas City, Kansas Association.
We also support the following individual missions: Ambassador for Christ; Campus Crusade; Chinese Christian Mission; Far East Broadcasting; Christian Witness Center; Taiwan Baptist Seminary; CEF; Chinese Christian Herald Crusade; Mid-America summer retreat; Jess Chou-Salla ministry (Quinhai, China); Yuan-Ze University Campus Church (Taiwan).
